He was predeceased by: his father Henry Schierschwitz; and his sister Ida Chumchal (Puppa). He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Beth LaCour (Damon) of Liberty and Melanie Ann Mikes (Casey) of Hallettsville; his pets, Krina, Maggie, Roxie and Pekingese Mi Chum; his sister Puppa; his grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Lacour, Rachel Jean LaCour, Meagan Rae Mikes and Madison Renee Mikes; and his nieces, Faith Darilek, Hope Baron and Charity Kneifel.
