He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Selby and Elizabeth Selby (Qualls); his children, Estelle, Roland, Ray, Virgil, Jerry and Travis; and his son-in-law Dwain Hamner.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Kathleen (Pratka), Valerie Elaine (Hamner) and Kevin Glen (Kay Chapoton); his wife Sharon Selby (Shiner); his grandchildren, Lilynn Hamner (Mineral Wells), Rhett Pratka (Pleasanton) and Reid (Jenni); his great grandchildren, Daphne Hamner, Kayla, Brayden and Peyton Pratka; and also John Therese Pratka.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Amphion Cemetery.
