He is survived by: his wife Melinda Kurtz (Ideus) of Shiner; his children, Veronica Bader (Scott) of Hondo, Coni Jenkins of San Antonio, Joey Kurtz (Tracy) of Shiner, Justin Kurtz (Ashley) of Houston and Ryan Kurtz (Charlene) of Fort Worth; and his brother Laddie Kurtz (Rita) of Shiner. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
