We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2020, at the age of 78, Alice Thurmond of Shiner, Texas, born in Sweeny, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Thurmond to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Meador and Mary Meador (Burt); and her siblings, Martha Kay, Betty Jo Hebert, Josie Wright, Johnny Meador, Gene Meador, Bobby Meador and Alvin Meador.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Thurmond of Shiner; her children, Tammy Sue Carpenter (Robin) of Sweeny and John Thurmond (Amy) of Shiner; her siblings, Mary Ann Graue of Sweeny and James Tubby Meador (Gloria) of Sweeny; and her close friends, Allen and Beverly McNeil. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital in her memory.
