In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Virgie Mae leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Virgie Mae may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Randall and Charlie Randall (Royal Lee Talley); her son Darryl Rickey Smith; and her nephew Joseph Randall Farry. She is survived by: her sister Harriett Stranathan; her grandchildren, Darryl Smith and Deborah Smith; and her nieces, Jan McElroy and Laura Jamieson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the West Hill Cemetery (1304 W Lamar St, Sherman, TX 75092).
