He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlin Thomas Jones and Ruby Alma Hamlett; his brother Larry Jones; his daughter Brenda Roberts; and his grandson Dylan Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Wilson; and his son Thomas. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and innumerable friends.
