It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Lou Butterworth in Sherman, Texas, born in Hope, Arkansas, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ellis and Ruth Ellis; and her siblings, Lindol Ellis, Pansy Mandeville, Nelda Carroll and James Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband Walt Butterworth; her children, Rhonda Pryor (Keith) and Rick Rothwell (Julie); her grandchildren, Beth Rizkal (Mike), Levi Smith (Shaneigh), Matthew Smith, Anna Edmonds (Clint) and Sara Rothwell; her great grandchildren, Tommy, Hannah Rizkal and Charlotte Smith; her children, Dillion, Dalton and Delaney; her great grandchild Colter; and also, Reid Kirk, Jessica, Jacie, Jaxon and Art Butterworth (Leslie). She is also survived by sister Marguerite Downs, and Walt's sons and family.
