We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2024, Ruby Bell of Sherman, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ann and C. L. Holland; her siblings, Calvin Holland Jr., Vernon Holland, Tyrone Holland, Mary Kate McKinney, Carol Ann Hawkins (Nannie) and Janice Dawson; and her grandson Kevionte Stevenson (Nuke).
She is survived by: her daughters, Vernell Cummins (Kiddy), KaShasta Bell and Dequala Bell; and her sisters, Gloria Bailey and Catharine Godwin (Scott). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harmony Baptist Church (2111 E Tuck St, Sherman, TX 75090). A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the West Hill Cemetery (1304 W Lamar St, Sherman, TX 75092).
