It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Mae Boyd (Sherman, Texas), born in Van Alstyne, Texas, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jones Sr. and Labrida Cooper-Jones; and her husband Billy Joe Boyd Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Harry Boyd and David Boyd Sr. (Victoria) of Dallas; and her sister Carrie Mayes of Dallas, TX.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cravens Funeral Home (700 N Crockett St, Sherman, TX 75090). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grand Avenue Church of Christ (619 N Grand Ave, Sherman, TX 75090).
