We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2024, at the age of 88, Peggy Joyce Preston of Sherman, Texas, born in Van Alstyne, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Cromer and Blanch Cromer (Thornton); her husband Garry Preston; her siblings, Jennie Powell, Lois Strother and Raymond Cromer; and her stepson Jeffrey Preston.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Douglas (Darla) of Sherman and Kathy Melton (Rusty) of Howe; her stepson Garry Preston Jr. (Penny) of Fort Worth; her grandsons, Chris Douglas (Taylor) of Whitewright, Dusty Melton (Ashley) of Howe, Josh Bosch (Joel) of Anna and Corey Douglas (Veronica Garrett) of Sherman; and her great grandchildren, Chris Douglas, Dusty Melton, Josh Bosch, Corey Douglas, Joel Bosch, Heath Quisenberry, Landon Douglas and Dillon Douglas. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.
