She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Theodore Slaybaugh and Patsy Jean Slaybaugh (Council); and her siblings, JamesTimothy Slaybaugh, Terry Slaybaugh and Denise Rankin.
She is survived by: her husband Gary McDowell of Commerce, Texas; her children, Bonnie Kopecky (Michael), Richard McDowell (Rachel), Damon McDowell (Angela) and Meghan Pierce (Jeff); her grandchildren, Preston McDowell, Rhett McDowell, Reese McDowell, Madelynn McDowell, Harrison McDowell and Joshua Pierce; her siblings, Doug Slaybaugh, Thad Slaybaugh, Dawn Lyons (James), Rhonda Michael and Soine Fisher; her brother-in-law Greg McDowell; and her pets, Stripes, Maisy Jr. "MJ" and Twiggy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
