It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Otis Doolittle Jr. of Sherman, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin O Doolittle Sr. and Betty Frazer; and his brother Bill Doolittle. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Johnson; his stepsons, Brent and Keith Wickham; his brothers, Don and Larry Doolittle; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Dylan Doolittle, Stephen, Amber, Dakota Stout, Allie, Cassie, Brady Johnson, Hunter, Kassidy, Madison Wickham and Tori Barron.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Wounded Warriors in his memory.

“Carlotta and family, I was truly saddened to hear about the passing of Marv. I remember the first time I met him when we were stationed in Vietnam. I will always cherish the friendship that began over there and continued until his passing. I will miss his phone calls and life updates. I always enjoyed when he visited and will always remember when we went to Washington D.C. to visit the Vietnam Wall. The world has lost a wonderful person and dedicated Veteran. Sincerely, Anthony”
