It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Carolyn Johnston (Sherman, Texas), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Felknor and Marion Felknor; and her brother Charles Eckel Felknor. She is survived by: her husband Donald Lee Johnston; her children, Charles Stephen "Steve" Johnston (Kathleen) of Austin and Elizabeth "Beth" Consuelo Johnston Lessner (Mark) of McKinney; her sister Wendy Felknor Thompson of Cookeville, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Elijah Johnston, Luke Johnston, Rebekah Lessner, Joshua Lessner and Rachel Lessner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Austin College or Habitat for.
