It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Polite of Sherman, Texas, born in Ashdown, Arkansas, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daniel Polite and Lena Mae Polite (Bazell); and his sister Janell Cosey. He is survived by: his wife Margarette Polite of Sherman, TX; his children, Calita Verhovshek (Joel), Luster Charles Polite Jr. of Colony, TX and Yuvitta Giles (Edmund); his sister Jessie Mae Hampton; and his grandchildren, Autumn Verhovshek, Summer Morris, Alyssa Verhovshek, Donovan Giles and Ryan Polite. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
