He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Leslie Swindle and Clara Mae Wester Swindle (Carolyn Stice Swindle); his stepson Dow Neal; his grandson Toby Swindle; and his sister-in-law Donna Swindle.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Swindle; his children, Laura Harrell and Jeff Swindle (April Swindle); his stepdaughter Corie Palya; his siblings, Jerry Swindle and Patty Swindle; his daughter-in-law Trenna Neal; and his grandchildren, Delton Swindle, Cloe Swindle, Blaze Fajerson, Lanie Fajerson, Ryan Fajerson, Dakotah Mahan, Haylee Mahan, Eli Mahan, Kendra Neal and Jarrell Guess. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
