She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wilkinson and Darlene Wilkinson (Wagner); her brother Bill Wilkinson Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Yvonne and Otto Skarja.

She is survived by: her friends, Meg, Kim, Charlotte, Tammy, Rhonda, Connie, David, Mark and Ed; her husband Joe Petruzelli; her godson Tyler Wilkinson; her brother Jeff Wilkinson; and her siblings-in-law, Michael Skarja, Anthony Skarja, Candice Wilkinson and Michelle Skarja. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a local food pantry of your choice.

“To all, My sisters notified me of Kris's passing. I only knew her as a young girl, along with her brothers, Bill and Jeff. Our family would travel from Dallas to Sherman, and vice-versa to visit the Wilkinson family, and go out on various lakes in the area. As kids, we had a lot of fun. Kris had an infectious laugh, and was always smiling and having a good time. Bill and Darlene were the best of people. To the Petruzelli family, I hope time heals your loss.
