We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2025, at the age of 79, Kenneth Scott Wardwell of Sherman, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Wardwell and Ludie Mae Wardwell; his siblings, Margie Stearns, Willis Wardwell and Henry Lawrence Wardwell; and his daughter Darla Sue Wardwell.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa IronShell Wardwell of Sherman; his son Scott Wardwell (Misty) of Wichita Falls; his stepsons, Michael Komorowski (Melanie) of Ft. Worth, TX, Charlie Komorowski (Julie) of Howe, TX and JJ Komorowski of Sherman; his grandchildren, Mikaylah Komorowski of Sherman, Kolbe Lappin and Cooper Komorowski of Howe; and his siblings, Charlotte Myher of Knollwood, Laura Cole (Corky) of Golson and Clarence Wardwell (Linda) of Snyder, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090-7153). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
