He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rushing; his children, Lori Johnson, Amy Coffman, Sandi Key (David), Christina Gheen and Derrick Smith (Melanie); his sisters, Katherine Stern-Gilbert (Wayne) and Helen Park (Jerry); his grandchildren, Sean, Chase, Harrison, Hudson, Kaylee, Lindzee, Hayley, Caleb and Kinslee; his great grandchildren, Cashton, Annabelle, Trey, Ava and Austin; his niece Jennifer; and his nephews, Michael and Billy.
