He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Threadgill and Vernell Threadgill; his sister Janell Ulrich; and his wife Carolyn Threadgill. He is survived by: his children, Michael, Melissa Threadgill, Jennifer Durham and Jennie Singleton; his grandchildren, Grace, Zach Threadgill and Aster Durham; and his sister Jan Lillis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
