She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse L. Owen and Laura Richey Owen; and her husband H. G. Bateman. She is survived by: her children, Rodger Bateman (Brenda) and Nancy Bateman Rogers (Bob); her grandchildren, Amber Bateman Price (Charlie Price), Heather Bateman Peck (Jay Peck), Will Rogers (Katie Rogers), Cody Bateman and Whitney Rogers Runyon (Nick Runyon); her great grandchildren, Avery Price, Levi, Madeline, Asher, Hannah Peck, Travis, Wilson Rogers, Callum, Corrie, Carolina, Cicily Bateman, Nicholas, Izzy and Chambers Runyon; and her close friend Roger Osterhout. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Northpark Baptist Church in Sherman in her memory.
