He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit James and Ruby Parmley (Brenda James); and his siblings, Donald James, Carol James and Jackie Singleton.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Juarez (Antonio); his grandchildren, Tony, Chris, Jon and Isaiah; his daughter Donna James (Wendy Damesworth); and his siblings, Glenn James, Deborah Carlock and Bobby Parmley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
