She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.

“Aunt Jewel was a loving, kind, gentle soul and will be missed dearly! She loved God and all of her beautiful & adoring children and grandbabies! I will always be grateful she took me in as a newborn baby. She cared for me while my own mother was in the hospital for an extended period of time. I think I bonded with her as more of a mother figure than I ever realized, until my own mother passed away. She was always an Angel, she just got her wings back. Love Always, marsha”
