It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Greeson of Sherman, Texas, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Milton Greeson, L. Wade Greeson, L. Wayne Greeson and Audrey Greeson Johnson; and his son Martin Greeson.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Reed of Sherman; his children, James Greeson Jr. (Cathy) of Baton Rouge and Rebecca Peacock (Carl) of Sherman; his grandchildren, James Greeson III of Baton Rouge, Dana Duet of Baton Rouge and Joanna Peacock of Sherman; his great grandchildren, Stone Greeson of Baton Rouge, Abigail Duet of Baton Rouge, Meagan Duet of Baton Rouge, Brinlee Valentin of Sherman, Kasen Debose of Sherman, Kayne Anderson of Sherman and Devyn Cheri Taylor of Sherman; his niece Lynn Mitchell of Baton Rouge; and his nephew Dr. Charles Greeson of Baton Rouge.
