She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Virgil Howard and Osa Mae Howard (Madison); her former husbands, Harold Jean Godsey and Thomas Newton Shipp Jr.; and her stepdaughter Donna June Cook (Raney).
She is survived by: her husband Marion "Wayne" Raney; her daughter Deborah Ann Rowen (Shipp); her son-in-law Carl Edwards of Lake Dallas; and her granddaughter Stephanie Leininger-Anderson (Edward Anderson).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Sherman (401 N Elm St, Sherman, TX 75090).
