He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Bailey and Elma Ruth Smith (O'Neal); and his sisters, Norma Kay Smith of Sherman and Johnnye Nell Kohrs. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jayne; his sister Glenda Jeanne Eliason of Richland, WA; his children, Georjeania Gearinger (Leonard) of Sherman, TX and Michael Smith (Lisa) of Sherman, TX; his grandchildren, Catherine Bailey Parkerson (Skyler) of Crandall, TX, Alexander Burton, Emma Elizabeth of Sherman, Thomas Gearinger of Sherman, Alexa Newman and Zachary Newman of Tom Bean, TX; and his great grandchild Thomas Wayne Newman.
