He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irvin Ward and Rossie Ward (Floyd); his sibling Dow; his children, Susan (Eddy Bradshaw), Edward (Cindy) and Jeanine (Paul Wolf); his wife Rhonda; and his stepson Stephen. He was also cherished by his children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
He volunteered over 13, 000 hours at the Bonham VA Hospital, collected and donated wheelchairs for the Cancer Center, and furnished medical equipment for those in need.
