He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Mackey; his parents, John L. Mackey and Johnnie B. Mackey; and his brother David Mackey. He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Wetzel (Brandon Wetzel) and Cristin Mackey; and his grandsons, John Isaac and James William Wetzel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
