He was predeceased by: his mother Isabel Ann Boardley; his grandparents, Raymond and Virgie Racer; his father-in-law G. T. "Skeet" Ellis; and his brother-in-law Cliff Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Christi Ellis; his daughters, Alenia Huellemann (Ralph), Karrell Bringman (Steven Chambless) and Alicia Pruitt (Richard); his grandchildren, James Bringman, Joseph Mueller, Maleena Pruitt, Anna Pruitt, Kaitlyn Huellemann and Kameron Garcia; his sisters, Bonnie Hoggatt, Patty Seward (Gary), Kathy Holmes and Ann Flener-Gittlen; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Row, Thomas Ellis, Kim Fidler, Caleb Brantley, Sabrina Seward, Grant Seward, Hunter Holmes and Jodi Flener.
