She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Kennedy; her great grandchild Oliver Chapman; and her parents, Hubert Arthur Songer and Syble Estelle Songer. She is survived by: her children, Karen (Eric Kelley), Sharen Arriazola and Ricky Kennedy; her grandchildren, Kristin Kelley, Kari Piazza (Joe), Mandy Riley (Shawn) and Clint Arndt (Brigette); her great grandchildren, Cash Riley, Chloe Riley, Alex Piazza, Lucy Piazza, Trent Riley and Taylor Riley; and her siblings, Edwin Songer, Louise Michelle, Kathy Jarrett and Sheila Pitts. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the West Hill Cemetery Pavilion (1304 W Lamar St, Sherman, TX 75092).
