He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Basinger and Margaret Basinger; and his siblings, Paul Basinger and Ellen Roye. He is survived by: his wife Martha Louise Sedberry; his siblings, Carolyn Sue McMillon (Larry) and Dean Basinger; his daughters, Mendy Kate Davis (Jim) and Suzy Basinger Rickard (Greg); and his grandchildren, James McKay Davis, Sydney Grace Davis, Paul Everitt Rickard and Andrew Dwayne Rickard. He is also survived by numerous relatives and close friends.
