Doris Irene Sims Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Doris Irene Sims of Sherman, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bourgeois and Irene Bourgeois; and her husband Paul Sims. She is survived by: her siblings, Eldon Bourgeois and Mary Gilchrist (Rich); her children, Tammie Sims, Tony, Vivian Sims, Troy and Sandra Sims; her grandchildren, Justin (Kathie), Dustin, Timothy (Brittany), Robin (Glen), Seana (Jon) and Micah; and her great-grandkids, Isaiah, Noah, Daniel, Nathaniel and Mavis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Sherman Community Players, the World Literacy Foundation, or the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
