She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bourgeois and Irene Bourgeois; and her husband Paul Sims. She is survived by: her siblings, Eldon Bourgeois and Mary Gilchrist (Rich); her children, Tammie Sims, Tony, Vivian Sims, Troy and Sandra Sims; her grandchildren, Justin (Kathie), Dustin, Timothy (Brittany), Robin (Glen), Seana (Jon) and Micah; and her great-grandkids, Isaiah, Noah, Daniel, Nathaniel and Mavis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Sherman Community Players, the World Literacy Foundation, or the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
