He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Clinton Murphy and Barbra Murphy; and his brother Robert Gene Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Murphy (Sarah) and Marnie Sloan (Jasen); his wife Homs Kay Murphy; his grandchildren, Amanda Montgomery (Brennon), Blaine Sloan Ashley Sloan (Jenna) and Heather Eldredge (Cole); and his great grandchildren, Weston Montgomery and Gatsby Eldredge.
