He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sister Geneva Walker; his daughter Paula Samford (Russell); his grandchildren, Jacob Samford (Nikki), Ryan Samford (Pippen), Tyler Burns and Jayci Burns; and his great grandchild Ridge Samford.
