It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Rex Gibson of Sherman, Texas, born in Clinton, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Gibson and Arvilla Gibson (Schwab); and his wife Mary Louise Gibson (Satoris). He is survived by: his children, Cindi Gibson of Wills Point, TX and David Gibson of Arlington, TX; his brother Hugh Gibson (Sondra) of Springtown, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Nena Mathiews of McAlister, OK, Virginia Pingleton (James) of Hartshorne, OK and Neno Satoris (Jeannie) of Gowen, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, Home Hospice of Grayson County, or the American Cancer Society.
