He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Jones and Lucy Jones (Files); his brothers, Christopher Ray and Danny; and his sister-in-law Bonnie.

He is survived by: his siblings, Randy Jones (Toy) of Denison, Sharon Perkins (Jeff) of Sadler, Jean Covey (John) of Corinth and Judy Maxwell (Wayne) of Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and cousins; many extended family and friends.
