Betty Bess McKelvey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bess McKelvey of Sherman, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Hamilton and Bess Hamilton (Bentley); her sister Nancy Hamilton; and her great grandchild Mitchell Bond. She is survived by: her daughters, Betsy McKelvey Wheeler (Tom) of Joplin, MO and Nancy McKelvey Bond (Nolan); her grandchildren, Jake Bond (Laci), Sarah Schrader (Erik) and Carrie Wooten (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Harlee Wooten, Brody Wooten, Sky Schrader, Bryant Bond, Harper Wooten and Bentley Bond; and her brother David Hamilton. She is also survived by niece, nephew and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Betty requested donations be made to the First Baptist Church Sherman Ministry of Encouragement.
