She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Laverne Hendricks Sr. and Kathrine Marie Hendricks; her brother Preston Jr.; and her daughter Malina Marie Wences. She is survived by: her husband Larry Park Whitaker; her sons, Pedro Luviano Wences Jr. (Lori), Daniel Jose Wences (Ashley) and Michael Sylvester Wences; and her sister Amanda Michelle Minor (Ruben). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren.
