Though Andrew Hollis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Andrew Hollis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hollis, Susan Shoemake and Jimmie Hunter; and his nephew Peyton Patrick Lucido. He is survived by: his parents, Stan (Velma-Jean Shoemake) and Christye (Stephen Hamilton); his grandmother Barbara Hunter; his siblings, Courtnye Dixon (Bill) and Britnye Shoemake; and his nephews, Kenneth Lucido and Andrew Kency. He is also survived by Many step siblings, their spouse's and their children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the West Hill Cemetery (1304 W Lamar St, Sherman, TX 75092).
