He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane M. Ricks and Kathleen Joyce Ricks (Kelley); and his half-brother Jerald Ricks. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schneider of Sheridan, Texas; his stepsons, Jim Schneider of Sheridan and Robert Sloan (Rebecca) of Sheridan, Texas; and his siblings, James Watson, Charleen Watson and Glenda Ricks.
He wanted it to be known that Covid-19 was not the cause of his death, and had no impact on his health or lack thereof.
