He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee Holman and Maxine Melton Holman; his wife Betty Holman; his son Thomas Holman Jr.; and his siblings, Michael Holman and Debbie Cagle.

He is survived by: his children, Tracy Holman and Tami Chappell (Scott); his sister Janet Grizzle (Thomas Ray); his grandchildren, Justin Jones, Taylor Jones, Ashton Axtens and Andrue Holman; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Jones, Teagan Axtens and Elena Axtens.
