It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Ray Brinkley (Shepherd, Texas), born in Grapeland, Texas, who passed away on March 14, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Brinkley and Ida Brinkley; his daughter Lisa Brinkley; his sister Hazel Mobley; his siblings-in-law, Jack Slade, Billy Ward and Marie Brinkley; his son Clint Brinkley; his siblings, Joe Brinkley, Rick Brinkley (Smaro), Roy Brinkley, Mary Slade, Linda Deeter (Gerald), Shirley Booth (Jack) and Margaret Ward; his grandchildren, Samantha Hoover (Casey) and Clint "C. J."; his great grandchild Jude; and his pet Duke. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joe Joe Bear Foundation (joejoebear.org) or Big Creek Cowboy Church would be appreciated by Ray's Family.
