Mattie Choate Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Choate (Shepherd, Texas), who passed away on April 13, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Barnett and Jewell Barnett; her children, Gary Leon Choate, Laura Elizabeth Choate and Guy Walton Choate; and her siblings, Henry Lee Tidwell, Bertha Mae Suggitt, Donnie Gay McGinty and Birdie Lou Kirkwood.
She is survived by: her children, Alvin Leroy Dean (Carrie), Louis David Choate, Charlie Jackson Choate (Hattie), Geraldine Lowe (Norman) and Samuel Allen Choate (Stella); and her sister Mollie Sue Mitchell. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
