He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hawkins and Ora Lee Alexander Hawkins; his wife Ann Hawkins; and his siblings, Charles Hawkins (Annette Hawkins), Dewayne Hawkins, Ann Hawkins (Eddie) and Geraldine Hawkins.
He is survived by: his children, Oleslie Hawkins, Chastity Hawkins (Ray) and Jaquita Hawkins; his stepchildren, Micheal Cleveland (Erica), Nicole and Kisha Ellis; the mothers of children, Jo Ann Hawkins and Patricia Dixon; his grandchildren, Ledarren Hines, Rakeadric Easley, Kathy Easley, Joshua Hawkins, Jaleah Hawkins and Micheal T. Cleveland; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Hines and Keyshaunna Hines; and his siblings, Walter James Hawkins (April), Robert Hawkins (Geraldine), Dwight Hawkins (Shaquita), Thelma Glover, Mary Davis and Dorothy White (Marvin).
