We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021, at the age of 87, Walter Harold Baty of Shelbyville, Texas, born in Anderson, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Baty and Eva Jennings Baty; his siblings, Charles Baty, LeeRoy Baty, Leona Wearden and Mickey Johnson; and his brother-in-law Sherman Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Enmon; his sons, Walt (Kellie) of Shelbyville and Will (Jill) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Wade Baty, Ali Baty and Stephanie Zipperer; his siblings, Sam Baty (Jenni) of Houston, Ida Baty of Tyler and Mary McKelvey of Palestine; his sisters-in-law, Billie Bailey and Bettye Baty; and his close friend Monty Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In 2020, he was diagnosed with COVID-19.
