She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin J. McCarty and Ora V. Powers McCarty; her son Mark Allen Cox; and her brother Kenneth McCarty. She is survived by: her husband Tommy L. Cox, Sr. of Shelbyville; and her children, Kevin (Trish Cox), Tommy (Christi Cox), Sherry (Tony Wingate) and Patty Cox of Kilgore. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
