He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Cooper and Nea Andrews Cooper; and his stepchildren, Donnie Fletcher, Ronnie Fletcher and Cathy Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Cooper; his children, Evelyn Enequist (John) of Essexville, Carolyn Fulton (Mark) of Bonanza, Oregon and William Cooper (Elaine) of Orlando, Florida; and his stepchildren, Sarah Boyter of Longview, Brenda Lawson of Spring and Carl Fletcher of Houston. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Watson & Sons Funeral Home (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Wimberly Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the same location.
