She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Henderson McWhiney and Lula Smith McWhiney; her husband Kenneth Dean Cooper; her children, Ronald Fletcher, Donald Fletcher and Catherine Fletcher; and her siblings, Leroy McWhiney, Audrey Stolz and Nannie Bush.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Boyter (Paul) of Longview, Brenda Lawson (Rick) of Spring, Carl Fletcher (Dana) of Houston, Carolyn Fulton (Mark) of Bonanza, Evelyn Enequist (John) of Essexville and Billy Cooper (Elane) of Orlando, Florida; and her sister Elizabeth Bowler of Jackson, Michigan. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Watson & Sons Funeral Home (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Wimberly Cemetery.
