With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Clayton McClendon of Shallowater, Texas, born in Odessa, Texas, who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. McClendon and Gyneth Umberson McClendon; and his wife Mary Ivey. He is survived by: his daughter Kim; and his son-in-law Mark Dewbre.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Olive Memorial Park (1701 TX-350, Big Spring, TX 79720).
