It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Smith of Shallowater, Texas, born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Clifton Smith and Janie Olean Smith (Stewart); and his siblings, Bill, Joe Smith, Majell Westbrook, Lynn Coaly and LaVoynn Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Powell; his children, Jamie Reep (Skip) of Shallowater, Andrea Perkins of Dallas, Joel Hohenberger (Courtney) of Lubbock, Stacy Hohenberger (Robin) of Shallowater and Dee Hohenberger (Jessika) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Holli, Jake (Mary Claire), Callie and Shayla; his great grandchildren, Kandi, Kyli, Arrow, River, August, Arlow and Kairo; and his grandsons, Kiel, Kye, Kiefer, Kole Hohenberger, Daniel Foerster and Luke Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Kenneth's memory to Hospice of Lubbock or the Mustard Seed Ministry at First Baptist Church in Shallowater.
