It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Evelyn Middleton Smith of Shallowater, Texas, born in Anton, Texas, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Lee Harris. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Rowell, Bobby Harris and Greer; her children, Mike Middleton, Sarah Middleton Sibigtroth, Melissa Middleton Ford, Brenda Middleton Goldberg, Gary Middleton and Walter Middleton; and her grandchildren, Matt Gilbert, Mark Gilbert, Nicole Deaver, Jessica Deaver, Megan Huffer, Breanne Burris, William Ford, Stewart Ford, Rachel Maage and Spencer Middleton.
